When Sandy gave me the go ahead on Dec 12 to book a trip to go away for Christmas, I googled beach and golf and weather above 20 degrees...in no time I booked us a holiday to Sharm El Sheikh in the Sinai area of Egypt on the Red Sea. The flight was only a little over 5 hours away.We discovered that the Egyptians are friendly, have a great sense of humor and are not big water sports people so more room for us at the pool and in the sea! We also learned a little bit of the language. The Egyptians still think that Chicago is run by the gangsters and is a very dangerous place...we'll just let them believe that.
The snorkeling was amazing and we can't wait to go back when the water is a little warmer for Annie...
